My mom is truly the best woman I know, she has always been the one to give, to love, and to care for others without ever asking for anything in return. Recently, she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease and Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), and it has been one of the scariest and most overwhelming times for our family. She’s now facing countless doctor visits, steroid injections, and other treatments just to manage her symptoms. On top of the physical toll, the financial strain is growing heavier every day. Between the expensive medical bills and missing work to make it to appointments, she’s losing income while also fighting to get better.
