Molly is a devoted single mother and small business owner who now finds herself facing one of the biggest challenges of her life.

She has recently been diagnosed with “a massive, multiloculated left adnexal cystic lesion concerning for primary ovarian neoplasm (e.g. Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma)”, which has been classed as O-RADS 5. As per the most recent scan, it measures at 23.1cm x 17.5cm x 14.3cm.

Her treatment has been placed as a category 1, and requires urgent major abdominal surgery.

Because Molly is self-employed, she has no income protection or sick leave to rely on. With no family support to fall back on, this completely unforeseen medical issue has left her in constant pain while she tries to keep her business and household running, while also caring for her beautiful son.

Molly’s greatest wish is to focus on her health and recovery, and cater to the needs of her son without being forced to work through the pain or return to her business after surgery before she is physically and mentally ready.
