Support Moggie's At-Home Care!

UPDATE: MOGGIE IS HOME, AND WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO SUPPORT HER!

Written on 6/6/23: It has been about a week and a half since Moggie came home from the hospital. While she is doing very well and is in high spirits, she needs round-the-clock care to be safe and healthy. As we navigate healthcare coverage to pay for this care, we are asking for community support to fund friends, nurses, PCAs, and CNAs who have all expressed interest in being part of Moggie's care. We need funds to make this possible, as she would like to pay folks a livable wage. These expenses exceed Moggie's income, and we need community support to make this possible.

ABOUT MOGGIE:

Throughout her life, Diana Jo (also known as Moggie to many) has given much to our community and the broader movement for liberation. Have you ever seen that picture of Marsha P. Johnson and Silvia Rivera at the first NYC Pride event in history? Guess what? Moggie took that picture! Locally, many of you know Moggie through the DIY music and art scene, as well as in venues such as the Flywheel, which she was a huge part of. Some of you might know her from Northampton, where she is always walking everywhere with her wonderful sidekick, Rosie the dog. Over the years, Moggie has also been a huge part of several local mutual aid projects such as Food Not Bombs, as well as organizations such as the Pioneer Valley Workers Center. She is also an art worker, musician, and playwright. Anyone who knows Moggie or has seen any of her work understands her unwavering commitment to abolition and abundance for all.
