My Name is Mohamed Aboshanab – But You Can Call Me Mo London
I’m running as an Independent Candidate for Mayor of London in the 2028 Mayoral Election, and I need your support to build a people-powered movement that puts Londoners first.
I’m not here to repeat the promises of the same political parties. I’m here to bring a new vision for London—one shaped by lived experience, informed by global leadership, and grounded in grassroots action.
This is your campaign. And this is your city.
Why I’m Running for Mayor
I was born into a working-class family, raised to believe that leadership means service, and built my career as an international lawyer, entrepreneur, and advocate for justice. I’ve worked across the UK, EU, US, and the Middle East—but no matter where I’ve been, London has always been home.
Over the years, I’ve watched London become unaffordable, unsafe, and unequal for too many of us. Small businesses are struggling. Our youth are left behind. Public services are under pressure. Communities are divided.
Meanwhile, the same political parties have offered the same answers—and Londoners have been left unheard.
That’s why I’m stepping forward to run for Mayor. Not as a politician. But as one of you.
What I Stand For
My campaign is built on three core pillars:
Community-First Leadership
Real change doesn’t come from party headquarters—it starts with conversations in local cafés, school halls, mosques, churches, and community centers. I’ll bring leadership back to the people.
A Safer, More Inclusive London
I will fight for better policing, smarter investments in mental health and youth services, and stronger support for marginalized communities.
Opportunities for All
From fair housing to small business support, from apprenticeships to immigrant-owned startups—I believe London should work for everyone, no matter your background.
How Your Donation Will Be Used
Running a serious independent campaign in a city as large and complex as London isn’t easy. That’s why I’m asking you to invest in real change—not for me, but for all of us.
Your contribution will help us:

We are committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical campaigning. Every penny will go directly toward building this movement.
Why This Campaign Matters
The 2028 London Mayoral Election is more than just a race—it’s a moment for transformation. With the elections to the London Assembly and local authorities happening on the same day, this is a once-in-a-generation chance to reset how politics is done in London.
Sadiq Khan has won three consecutive terms backed by the Labour Party. Now, London deserves a new voice. A voice that’s not bound by old party lines. A voice that speaks with honesty, vision, and real experience.
That voice is Mo London.
