Hi, I’m Missouri O'Neal, a longtime volunteer at the Judeo Christian Health Clinic in Tampa. We provide free healthcare to people in the Tampa Bay Area who are uninsured and can’t afford care. Every day, we see patients across many medical specialties.

One area we’re struggling with is optometry. Patients often wait up to two years to see an eye doctor. Glaucoma is one of the most common issues, and without early diagnosis can lead to permanent vision loss.

A tool called a Tono-Pen measures eye pressure and helps diagnose glaucoma quickly and accurately. Right now, we don’t have one. Getting this device would let doctors evaluate patients faster and start treatment sooner.
