I'm Christie, a Registered Nurse with years of experience in Surgical ICU.

Every day in my job at New York Presbyterian, I see the incredible difference access to healthcare makes. But I also know that millions around the world lack even the most basic medical care. That's why I've committed to joining a medical mission trip with International Surgical Health Initiative to Underserved Village in Ghana.

Unfortunately, medical missions rely on the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of donors like you. While I'm covering a significant portion of my costs personally, I need to raise $3,500 to make this mission possible. This covers ground transportation, safe accommodations, medical supplies, and medications, which are the vital resources I'll use directly to treat patients.

We will be setting up temporary clinics in remote areas. Your donation will help ISHI provide free surgical care to underserved communities around the world. It's our goal to alleviate needless suffering due to untreated surgical disease and to return people to productive lives so they can care for themselves, their families, and their communities.
