Supporting Miss Evelin and Baby Joseph

Our school community is reaching out to support our wonderful teacher, Miss Evelin, and her new baby boy, Joseph. Baby Joseph made his arrival much earlier than expected on October 19th — at just 25 weeks. He’s doing well and showing amazing strength, but he’ll need to stay in the NICU in Tacoma for some time.

Evelin and her family live in Shelton, and she travels back and forth every day to be with Joseph. These long trips, along with meals away from home, have added up quickly, and we’d love to help lighten the load for her family during this time.

We’re asking for support from our school families and community to help cover gas and food costs while Evelin spends her days by Joseph’s side. Once Joseph is home, we’ll come together again to help with baby supplies and anything else the family might need — but right now, our focus is helping with their immediate needs.
