Hi! My name is Mirasol Bliss, and I’m a senior at Principia upper school. I have been given the opportunity to go to Johannesburg South Africa over spring break for a service trip! The Simunye trip is about giving back to communities in South Africa in any way we can, whether that’s feeding, building, or teaching! Simunye means we are one which is what the trips goal is! In order to travel to Simunye in march Im working and raising money. The total cost of the trip is $3000, I have already been awarded a $1500 dollar scholarship, my goal is to have 60 donations of $25 dollars! Im so excited for this opportunity to see a new part of the world and give back, which will build back to my passion and future major of international studies.
