Hi, my name is Miranda, I have had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer my time to serve the Lord at Gleanings as a summer staff. Gleanings for the hungry is a faith based organization, the organization takes Peaches that farmers that don't or can't sell we them wash, cut, and sort then later place them on pallets and set them in a field to dry. Once the peaches are dried they are placed in a conveyor belt and packaged into boxes and sent to counties that need food. I had gone last summer for a week of volunteering and had the most fun putting in work as well as hearing testimonies and sermons that had taught me and my friends a lot. Thanks to my job at In-N-Out I was able to get time off during the summer to participate in summer staff.
