Minneapolis families still need our help. During operation metro surge, migrant families were, and in some cases still are sheltering in place.

Even if we can’t see the terror noticeably happening in our streets, the ripple effects of the occupation are still absolutely here. We have lost several Latino families in the building, reasons unknown though you can guess.

YT PEOPLE NEED TO STEP UP NOW! You have that privilege and you CAN spare a few dollars to help those in need. Help is needed now more then ever. As you can see here, a little bit from a lot of people goes a tremendous way.

Out of sight should NOT equal out of mind.

This go fund me is directly for the residents of an apartment building in south Minneapolis. I am working with the landlord to distribute funds.

The majority of the folks that live here are migrants or people of color. These last few months have been terrifying, stressful, and chaotic. Minneapolis has SHOWN UP! And we are EXHAUSTED. As a white person feeling this way, I can only see, hear, and imagine the terror of my black and brown neighbors and community.

It is our duty to keep this momentum going.
