Hello all - I got some disappointing news after a consult with an attorney. DSS covers $1,500.00 of the adoption for Jordyn. Unfortunately, there are a lot more court costs associated with it, and I’m so scared I won’t be able to come up with it. I was told a lot of attorneys will take the $1,500.00 and do it for that, but I’ve called like 20 and she’s the only one to even get back with me. So, I’m looking at up to $5,000 from what I can tell. I have some of it, but it cuts into just everyday living for me. I’m scared - but I have faith, and when I say I have some of it, I don’t have nearly enough. It’s embarrassing, but I’m trying my best.

I’m stressing out as usual, but I’m determined to make this happen. I hate to ask for help, but I will when it comes to my grands.

Most of you know my story, and a lot of people have helped me so much already, and I have such a grateful heart. My daughter is on the road to recovery and that’s AMAZING!!! We need to keep our family together. If you can help, I am so grateful already. If not, help with prayers and share my status - we are going to make this happen.
