Support Milo's Sanctuary's Before We Are No More

Hi, this is Michele Hoffman and I am the President and Founder of Milo’s Sanctuary, Inc. I never thought I would have to write something like this but I have tried everything in my power to keep Milo’s Sanctuary going but I’m at the end of what I can do at this point in my life. I’ve given almost all of my retirement, paychecks and other monetary donations to Milo’s Sanctuary and I have nothing left in my accounts.

We are currently struggling, and I mean struggling to meet the day-to-day finances that keep this Sanctuary running and the animals safe. That is why I’m asking all of you to help, the idea of Milo’s closing and these beautiful babies having nowhere else to go is ripping my heart out every day. We have tightened our belts, have been downsizing as we can and have not taken in any new cats and have no intention of doing so at this time.

As many of you know I just had a video come out with AARP and it has gone viral, I was praying it would find new donors but so far nothing has come of it. We don’t have corporate sponsors, celebrity sponsors or big donors like many of the large rescues and humane society’s local to Southern California do. We rely on our friends and followers. We have tried over the years to get corporations, celebrities or big donors interested in what we do but it has never happened.

Just to remind you, or if you are new here exactly what we do we are a no-kill special needs cat rescue. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for cats who are blind, have physical disabilities, are seniors, have been abused, or are dealing with terminal illnesses. These loving creatures often face challenges in finding forever homes due to their special needs, but at Milo's Sanctuary, we ensure they receive the lifelong care and compassion they deserve.

Your support helps Milo's Sanctuary make a difference by contributing towards efforts like:

• Providing lifesaving medical care, medications and treatments for our special needs cats.

• Maintaining our 2 1/2-acre sanctuary, ensuring a safe, loving environment for our residents.

• Making sure the animals have food, litter, toys and anything else they might need. Many are on very special diets.

• Facilitating educational programs to raise awareness about the needs of special needs animals.
