After more than three decades, Millennium will be shutting down its current operation on May 23. Sharing this news with our team and our community has been heartbreaking, and the outpouring of love and support has meant so much to us.
Many of you have asked how you can support our team—the people who have shown up every day to make Millennium what it is—and this fundraiser was created in response to those requests. This fund is specifically for team members who are staying with us through our final services, continuing to care for our guests and for one another during this transition. It will not be for anyone who stays on with us for our next chapter who we are able to continue employing--it is only for employees who are forced to move on due to our circumstances.
All funds raised will be distributed directly to the Millennium employees who are unable to continue with us as staffing needs shift drastically. This will be a community gift and a heartfelt thank-you to those who remain with us through our final day of service. These funds are entirely separate from wages and tips and are not a replacement for regular pay.
Our hope is that this offers a bit of added support for most of our team during an emotional and uncertain moment, as many of our team members are actively searching for what comes next.
