Hi! My name is Millee Carter, and I’m beyond blessed to share that I have the opportunity to go on a medical trip in May 2026. I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Georgia studying Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences, and I’ve recently been accepted into the UGA College of Pharmacy, where I plan to pursue my Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

I’ve always had a strong interest in global healthcare, and this summer I’ll be traveling to the Dominican Republic for two weeks through UGA’s VAW Global Health Alliances. VAW partners with colleges across the country to bring medical missions to underserved communities around the world. While in the Dominican Republic, I will help with medical checkups and assist in teaching healthy habits to promote long-term wellness.
