Hi, I’m Marty Grimm, I have been given a huge task to complete for the 70th year of Princeton Speedway. Ron Olene has graciously donated his entire collection of speedway memorabilia from Princeton Speedway and some others. We need to build a museum for all of these items, along with items from others. Here’s the plan, we would like to acquire a car hauler and it doesn’t have to be new, with a fold down rear ramp. We would wrap this hauler with graphics and install display cases inside of it. It then could be mobile and stored inside during the winter months to preserve it. We are planning to digitize a bunch of the memorabilia and run it on screens also. We have a committee started to make this happen as many of us have been touched by Princeton Speedway in one way or another in our lives. It’s a special place where excitement and many dreams have come true and now we need to memorialize it as 3/4 of a century are nearing. 70 years, oh what a story they could tell. If we build it, they will come to see our fine history of racing.
