Hello! I'm Miley Giang from Troop 2722, I am beginning my Eagle Project to work toward my goal of achieving the Eagle rank. I am raising about $750 to build a sandbox for the students at Independent Elementary School.

Over the past 3 years, I got the opportunities to volunteer at Independent for a variety of their events or helping a Red Envelope Collective, student led organization and I wanted to give back for all the wonderful memories and experiences I've gained while helping the school. Their staff is one of the kindest group of people I have met and I want to thank them as well for their care and support. As well as giving the students a resource to grow their creativity, continue to engage and promote playing, and make memories with their friends which is known to also grow their brains.

I will be using the money to buy tons of sand, gravel, wood, tarp, and other materials and tools to build the base of the sandbox. Additionally, donations will also be used to support the Scouts that are helping with the project. I would like to provide water, snacks, and extra PPE for those volunteering.

Any donations and support are grately appreciated to reduce the cost and accelerate the process of completing the sandbox. Please help me bring joy for the kids, Scouts, and staff at Independent Elementary. Thank you for your consideration!
