Miles Chynoweth was recently in a tragic motorcycle accident. While riding out of American Fork Canyon he was cut off and struck by a truck. He was quickly airlifted to Intermountain Medical Center where he was informed that his leg would need to be amputated that night. They removed his right leg just above the knee, and he is recovering well.
Miles and his family are an incredibly adventurous family, and although they will continue to be, it will look a little different moving forward. Miles will be in the hospital and rehab for the foreseeable future. Many have reached out to offer help and love. At this time, the best way people can help is to donate so they can continue to provide the best care and future for Miles. One of the goals of this is to ensure Miles can get a state-of-the-art prosthetic that allows him to do everything he loves. It will be a long road, but the Chynoweth family is incredibly strong. Let's help them get back to skiing, mountain biking, surfing, and canyoneering with Miles!
We love Miles and acknowledge the many miracles that spared his life and are so thankful that we can look forward to more adventures together.
The Chynoweths have always been a family to help others in times of need. Let's rally around and help them. Any amount is very appreciated.
