Our hearts are completely shattered by the sudden and tragic passing of Colton Shepherd, who was taken from us far too soon.

Colton was a loving fiancé, a hard worker, and a deeply devoted father. He leaves behind his fiancé Mikayla, their beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Kennedy, and their sweet 10-month-old son, Hayes. Colton was working tirelessly to build a bright future for his family. He was finally beginning to find the financial stability he had always dreamed of providing for them and was working hard to get their lives on track.

Now, his family is facing the unimaginable reality of navigating this immense grief while raising two very young children without him. Mikayla is currently on maternity leave and receiving EI. With the rising cost of living and the responsibility of managing a mortgage, bills, groceries, and the everyday needs of a toddler and infant, this sudden loss has brought an overwhelming amount of financial stress during an already heartbreaking time.

We are hoping this GoFundMe will help ease some of that immediate financial stress, allowing Mikayla the time and space to grieve, care for her babies, and begin navigating life without him by her side.
