Support Midwifery Practice in Minnesota

Minnesota midwives have long supported families choosing community birth. This year we are working to ensure midwives can continue their independent practice and access the medications and tools they need to continue offering families the choices and safety they desire.

This year the Minnesota Chapter of NACPM ( National Association of Certified Professional Midwives) is working hard to update our state laws to ensure midwives can continue to access all the tools in our scope. We have been at the legislature working with elected officials to make these needed changes.
