Last Saturday, my husband, Mickey Stacey, started running a low-grade fever and could tell he wasn't feeling good. He went to the doctor on Monday and was given a diagnosis of flu B. He continued feeling bad all week and continued with the low-grade fever until I decided something had to give and called, trying to get an appointment for him on Thursday with no luck. Thursday night, his color had changed, and I had checked his O2 levels; they were at 85 while he was at rest. I took him straight to the hospital in hopes we'd gotten there soon enough and fast enough. Even while in the hospital, his health was still declining, and Friday afternoon, he had declined so badly he was sent to ICU, which led to intubation, sedation, and medical paralysis, along with emergency transport to Centennial Hospital in Nashville, where he is currently in ICU, still intubated, sedated, and medically paralyzed.

I hate asking for help, but at this point, I don't feel I have much of a choice as Mickey is the main contributor to our household, and with him being sick, we're in a bind with mortgage, groceries, and other household bills. We've worked so hard to make a better life for our kids and our family; I don't want to lose everything, and with not currently getting to work we need help with bills and gas to get back and forth from the hospital since it's hard for me to stay since we have 2 little boys that need me. The ICU doctor in Centennial has said if he recovers, it's a minimum of 7-21 days before he can leave the hospital, and we don't know what to expect at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated, and if you can't afford to help, I completely understand. Times are hard, and I already hate asking, but if you could share and possibly send up a few prayers for him, we'd all greatly appreciate it.
