Support Michele's Fight Against Alzheimer's
Donation protected
Michele Pignatone, a devoted nurse, wife, and loving mother, has always been a beacon of care and compassion at home, at work, and in her community. Three years ago, she was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's and Dementia. A progressive and devastating blow that forced her to leave her cherished nursing career from Bethesda Memorial Hospital of Boca Raton FL. The disease has taken everything from her. Despite her family's tireless efforts, Michele's condition requires specialized around the clock care that her modest pension won’t cover.
I am asking our community to come together to support Michele, whose life and work have touched so many. She set out to be a nurse 30 years ago so that she could help people and make a difference. The disease took all of that away from her and we are in desperate need of your support to help make a difference in her life now.
This GoFundMe is being set up by her family to help cover lawyer fees and part of the assisted living until we can get Medicaid. Please find it in your heart to share this link and donate, no matter the size $1, $5, $10, $20. It will make a meaningful difference and will truly go towards a genuinely kind and loving person. The spirit of community runs deep, and we are profoundly grateful for the chance to keep Michele, our mom close by and finally safe, with what brief time she has left.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
