Support Michael's Effort to Restore Mobility

My name is Michael and I'm fundraising for my friend who was at my house visiting and within the 30 minutes he was there his motor bicycle was stolen from my side door. He is disabled so is unable to work a normal job, but spent a year doing small jobs and recycling and saved up to by something that he could use to get around town. He bought a bicycle and realized that pedaling up hill was a big challenge. So I did some research and got someone to trade him for his bike and some cash on our end which I gladly helped with, for a motorized bicycle. He was beyond happy. He loved it. He only had to pedal a few times and that motor fired up and zipped him around town with ease.

Well almost a month later it was stolen. He didn't think it would be taken at 8:00pm at night next to a door. People sure are brave these days coming onto property like that. Needless to say a lesson was learned and it should have been locked up or brought inside.

I hate for anyone to feel like they are going backwards in life and this kind of thing does that. So I'm asking for the communities help (a random persons idea) for donations so I can surprise him and get him another one. I feel somewhat responsible since he was visiting me.
