Justice for Michael Fernandez Diaz:

Michael Fernandez Diaz is a compassionate and hardworking young man who is currently being unjustly detained by ICE. He is honest, caring, and loves family more than anything. He is of Venezuelan descent and served in the military for his country, faced with the ultimatum to leave due to persecution and at risk for his life. He has been in the US and is currently married to an American citizen, and we believe that he deserves a fair chance at a better life. We are fighting so hard to get him released so that he can return home to his wife and bring his daughter home so that she can too live an abundant life. Michael has fought so hard to become a US citizen and get a better job opportunity, but it has been difficult to do so because of his immigration status. We previously hired an attorney who was supposed to help him obtain his citizenship, and we exhausted all our funds in doing so. Unfortunately, not only did the attorney take our money, but she did not provide any services while continuously asking for more. In a desperate attempt to help Michael, we have had to sell all our belongings, which not only forced homelessness, but we went days without eating and spent endless nights in the streets. Please take our situation to heart and help us. We are in the process of hiring an attorney to fight for Michael’s freedom and citizenship, but to do this, we need funds. Anything will help. Whether it is donating $1 or just simply sharing our campaign, I wouldn’t have asked for help if I didn’t believe that he deserves a fair chance. Without your help, Michael will be forced to deportation to El Salvador without any criminal charges, where he has no family. Again, anything will help. I am desperately asking for your support.
