My name is Amy Winkler, my brother Michael Wilson's car was stolen and totaled on Sunday, Nov 17th. Worse it was stolen by a young man who he had helped out and even lived in his home a couple times as he was growing up. He showed up at my brother's house Sunday night and asked for a ride back into Grand Haven. My brother said sure left the room to go get ready. While he was in the other room this young man took his car keys and took off with his car. He didn't get far when he drove into a yard a couple doors down from my brother's and hit a tree, backed up and crossed the street into another yard hit a 2nd tree, backed up and pinned the car against a 3rd tree. He refused to get out of the car for the police and they ended up shooting a pepper ball through the rear window. At which point he gave up. Luckily no other vehicles, homes or people were hurt. This has left my brother emotionally devastated and needless to say financially strapped. Any help you can give is deeply appreciated to help him get back on the road again.
