In Loving Memory of Michael — A Beloved Father, Brother, and Friend

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Michael Mutange Kara, at the age of 40. On July 12, 2025, he was found unresponsive during a wellness check, leaving his family and children devastated by this heartbreaking loss.

Michael Kara was the beloved son to Rose Kara Atoo and Leeka Gwanganlie. He was a cherished brother to Haniton Kara, Roise Kara, Elima Muhire, Simon Kara, Otiem Gwanganalie, Loduku Gwanganalie, and Maria Gwanganalie. Michael is survived by his three children: Sakiya Fredrickson, Isaiah Kara, and Roise Kara.

Michael was a kind, hardworking, and generous soul who brought joy and love to everyone around him. He was a talented mechanic who could fix just about anything, and he had a true passion for cooking and barbecuing for his loved ones. He loved fishing, playing basketball, and simply being outdoors.

As we mourn this unimaginable loss, we’re reaching out to family, friends, neighbors, and our community to help ease the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses.
