Hi! I am raising money for a dear friend, Michael Barnes. Michael is the chef behind the Rocky Mountain Ramen food truck and a Salida resident. Michael’s father has come towards the end struggle with cancer. He was just put on hospice care. Michael needs to travel to Texas (with Nikita the Ramen Akita) to spend last moments with his father and tie up legal matters. Not only will this be a costly trip, it closes his only source of income, Rocky Mountain Ramen, for an indefinite period of time, causing much financial stress. I would like to see what we can do, as a community, to help ease his financial stress during such a difficult time until he can get back on his feet.
