My name is Tanya Tucker, a close friend and colleague of Michael and Samantha. I'm honored to serve as the host of this heartfelt campaign aimed at supporting Michael, Samantha, and their beautiful family during an incredibly challenging time.

I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. On February 26th, 2022, Michael and Samantha's lives took a devastating turn. While on their way to the Renaissance Fair, they were involved in a tragic accident caused by another driver's sudden maneuver. Despite Michael having the right-of-way and making efforts to avoid the collision, he was charged with vehicular manslaughter due to speeding.

After two long years of legal battles and overwhelming financial strain, Michael and Samantha faced an impossible decision. With their backs against the wall, they reluctantly accepted a plea deal offered by the prosecution. Michael will begin serving a 3-5 year prison sentence starting March 29th, 2024.

This decision has far-reaching consequences for their family. Samantha, now the sole provider for their three daughters aged 12, 9, and 6, faces unimaginable challenges ahead. Compounding their struggles, one of their daughters has a rare genetic condition that requires expensive medical care. With Michael in prison, their income, health insurance coverage, and even their home will be taken away.

But amidst this darkness, there's a glimmer of hope: your support. Your generosity can provide a lifeline for this family during their darkest hour.
