Hi, my name is Christy Antley, and I am raising money for my youngest sister, Amanda, and her husband, Michael Trim. Michael and Amanda have been married for 25 years and are the sweetest and hardest-working couple that you could ever meet.

On September 2, 2024, they found out Michael has a brain tumor. He was scheduled to have brain surgery on September 12, but two days after they found out about the tumor, Michael, while trying to go work a double shift before taking off for the next 10 weeks to recover, fell from the top step of their front porch and broke his collarbone. His health started declining even more, and his surgeon, who is out of town with an emergency, requested that he be transported to LSU Shreveport to have surgery immediately.

Michael and Amanda both had to take a leave of absence from their jobs for the 10 weeks for his recovery. They just bought a new home and risk losing everything with no income for the next 10 weeks, not to mention Amanda having to uproot to Shreveport through his surgery and recovery, which adds more expenses on top of them.
