Menstrual products are a basic necessity, but many students lack reliable access to them and face the struggles of period stigma. We are a group of four high school students from Seattle working on a HOSA (Healthcare Occupation Students of America) Community Initiative Project with one clear goal: to ensure nobody has to miss school, feel embarrassed, or struggle in silence because they don’t have proper access to period care and education.
All funds collected in this campaign will go towards feminine hygiene care packages that will be distributed in local middle schools, public park restrooms, and our high school’s student supply pantry—directly reaching those who need them most. These packages are designed to provide both comfort and reliability, including menstrual products, feminine wipes, hand sanitizer, heating packs, and snacks.
Our mission goes beyond providing supplies. We want to break the cycle of period stigma starting at a young age by normalizing conversations around menstruation and guaranteeing access to essential products, especially for students who don’t know where to find them or are scared to ask. Every donation, no matter how big or small, directly supports our effort and helps us to make a positive impact on more students in our community. Thank you for supporting our project and helping us make a difference, one step at a time.
