Hello Everyone, My name is Melissa and I never thought I would be in this position. Sunday evening my current husband walked out on me and my two kids who still live at home. He is not the father of them but he has been the best father figure to my 15 year old. He was the main income in the house making over $100K a year. He was to send me money each paycheck to help cover bills but over the weekend I only received a partial payment. When I asked about the rest he said "I am not able to do anything else right now." I do not know when or if he will help me with bills while we go through the divorce.

I cannot get into too many details as this is now in the courts hands. I officially filed for divorce this morning at the courthouse.

I am asking for funds to help me keep the lights on, mortgage paid, gas in my car to go to work and food for myself and my kids.

I never thought I would go through this and never thought I would have to ask strangers for money but here I am. Please be kind. I appreciate any support I can get.
