I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my beloved friend, Melissa Withers. Melissa has been in the fight of her life, battling three different chronic illnesses for the past seven years: Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), which is a very rare disease, Congestive Heart Failure, and Type 2 Diabetes. These illnesses keep her bedridden most of the time.

Because of these conditions, especially CVS, she’s spent most of the last seven years in the hospital and has racked up thousands of dollars in medical bills. She’s spent all of her savings and all of her retirement money paying those bills, but still owes thousands upon thousands of dollars more.

The costs associated with Melissa’s treatments and ongoing care are immense. On top of that, she is unable to work, is struggling to manage everyday expenses, and has no transportation.

I am asking for your help to provide her with money for medical expenses, transportation, medication, food, toiletries, housing, and any other expenses that may arise. Every dollar makes a difference and brings her one step closer to moving out.

Let’s show Melissa the same love and care she has given to so many during her life and career. She’s always been there for others; now let’s be there for her.
