Melissa has been in the fight of her life, battling three different chronic illnesses for the past seven years: Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), which is a very rare disease, Congestive Heart Failure, and Type 2 Diabetes. These illnesses keep her bedridden most of the time.
