Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted souls,

We’re reaching out with open hearts and a humble ask for our beautiful mother, Melissa Mohan. A woman who has poured so much into the lives of others, and now needs a little help of her own.

Melissa has been a devoted teacher for decades. The kind who lights up a classroom not just with knowledge, but with kindness, patience, and a deep belief in every child’s potential. She’s touched hundreds of lives with her warmth and compassion, always giving her time, energy, and love freely. Even when she didn’t have much for herself.

Since mid-April, our mom has been out of work due to a serious case of ulcerative colitis that landed her in the hospital for an extended stay.

She’s been unable to teach, unable to earn, and has been fighting quietly and bravely to heal - but the stress of looming rent, utility bills, and food costs have made this time even more difficult.

Two months without income has created a heavy burden. We’re hoping to raise enough to cover her basic needs (rent, food, and essential bills) so that she can focus on healing without the constant fear of falling behind. Every donation, big or small, helps ease that weight.

And if you know Melissa, you know she would never ask for this herself. That’s why we’re doing it for her. Because she’s always shown up for others. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
