Hello everyone,

We are the Indian Youth Association in Victoria, nestled in the heart of Melbourne. As winter creeps closer, we're gearing up for a heartfelt initiative to support those who need it most.

In May 2024, we're launching a compassionate food drive aimed at providing nourishing, freshly prepared meals to the homeless population braving the chilly streets of Melbourne's CBD. With temperatures dropping, we believe in the strength of a warm meal to offer comfort during these trying times.

Yet, our mission extends beyond humans alone. As we witness the harsh realities of winter, we cannot ignore the sufferings of our furry friends. Imagine the cold nights, with no shelter or warmth, and empty bellies for our beloved pets. They, too, deserve our care and compassion.

We will use the funds raised to not only purchase essential food ingredients but also to provide warm blankets and cozy sweaters for the pets enduring the harsh weathers alongside their owners.
