As many of you already know, tragedy has come to a member of our community. Melanie Coffman and her son, Elijah Syre Urbina, have been shaken by the sudden and accidental death of Lynn Vargas, Melanie's mother. Lynn's passing is a terrible sadness that will require healing and support beyond this message. However, in the short term, there is an immediate need to show financial support to this young family, and there has been an outpouring of love and care that is looking for a direction. This is going to be a very difficult time and immediate needs like child care and housing are going to be affected.
