On December 18, Me’Kia Cantrell and her son Dylan experienced a devastating apartment fire that resulted in the loss of their home and all of their belongings. In a matter of moments, everything they had was gone.

Me’Kia is such an amazing mother doing her very best to provide for her family, and facing a tragedy like this, especially during the holidays, makes an already difficult time even more overwhelming. As they work to process what happened, they are now beginning the long journey of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
