This is incredibly difficult to share and broadcast.

On November 13th my wife Meka and I were victims of a violent assault. As we were leaving Kenny’s Sports Bar on Cheviot Rd, we were suddenly attacked by two men wielding a baseball bat. There was no confrontation or warning—just a brutal assault that left us both with serious injuries. We were outside heading to our car when Meka decided she needed to use the restroom so she headed back inside and before she could make it through the door she was knocked unconscious. Naturally I rushed to her defense and consequently suffered a beating that left me with multiple injuries. When she came to, she bravely shielded me from further harm, but was struck multiple times in the head and body. I suffered a fractured orbital floor, a perforated eardrum, bruised ribs, and a deep laceration on my forehead. Meka endured blows to her head and face, a busted lip, scratches, a jammed finger, and painful knots all over her scalp. Her wedding ring was also lost in the chaos.

Beyond the physical pain, we are now struggling with mental trauma and PTSD. Everyday since we have been living a constant nightmare. We’re afraid to leave our home, and even the smallest noises or raised voices trigger overwhelming fear. Meka is haunted by the memory of seeing her wife attacked so viciously. This hate-fueled violence has changed our lives in ways we never imagined.

At this time it’s unclear if these individuals are able to be identified as there is no video surveillance in the parking lot where this took place…
