Megan Brooke Edmond, a senior at Fleming County High School in Flemingsburg, KY, is known for her bright spirit and dedication to her community. As a member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church, the high school volleyball team, the homecoming court, the Smile Club, and a co-op at the church's preschool program, Megan has touched the lives of many with her kindness and determination. She dreams of becoming a teacher in the future.

Recently, Megan was involved in a devastating car accident that left her with both legs broken, a shattered pelvis, and internal injuries. She faces a long and challenging recovery, with months of rehabilitation and multiple surgeries ahead. The impact of this accident means Megan will never be quite the same as she was before, but her strength and resilience continue to inspire those around her.
