Megan Brooke Edmond, a senior at Fleming County High School in Flemingsburg, KY, is known for her bright spirit and dedication to her community. As a member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church, the high school volleyball team, the homecoming court, the Smile Club, and a co-op at the church's preschool program, Megan has touched the lives of many with her kindness and determination. She dreams of becoming a teacher in the future.

Recently, Megan was involved in a devastating car accident that left her with both legs broken, a shattered pelvis, and internal injuries. She faces a long and challenging recovery, with months of rehabilitation and multiple surgeries ahead. The impact of this accident means Megan will never be quite the same as she was before, but her strength and resilience continue to inspire those around her.

The funds raised through this campaign will help cover the mounting medical expenses, including hospital bills, rehabilitation, and travel for treatments. Additionally, the support will help make necessary modifications to her home to ensure she has the accessibility she needs during her recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden on Megan and her family as they navigate this difficult journey.

The Edmond family would like to THANK EVERYONE for ALL the prayers for Megan and the other three students involved in the accident. They still need more prayers in the days, weeks, and months ahead. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of support and asks that you continue to keep Megan in your thoughts and prayers. This fundraiser was created in response to the many people asking how they could help, and the family wants everyone to know how much they appreciate the kindness and generosity shown by the community. They are humbled and grateful for the support during this challenging time.
