Support Medical Care for Rescued Dogs on Kauai

Aloha- I’m April and I trap stray, scared dogs and try to find them homes. This adorable duo (plus another puppy) were living at Kekaha landfill where I trapped them both. The other puppy ran off scared and has yet to be caught, but I’m still trying. The older guy has quite the list of medical needs- very bad ear infections, an infected tooth that needs pulling, unknown lumps that need diagnosing through ultrasound and bloodwork, and hip dysplasia or arthritis. We are working through this list one item at a time, and he will also need to be neutered once he’s healthy enough for anaesthesia. I am trying to fundraise to help Kauai SPCA pay for his medical care. And trust me, he’s worth it. He is the most chill, mellow, sweet guy. He loves other dogs. He loves small walks and sniffing. He’s happy in his crate. I can’t wait u til he’s feeling much better and his personality comes out even more. The amount needed will change as we learn more at the vet and I will update everything here. These funds will also be used to cover all medical care and neuter of the other puppy (if/ when I’m able to catch it) bc KSPCA doesn’t have the resources to help 3 dogs at once.
