Hi, my name is Frida, and I have enrolled in a World Challenge expedition to Borneo in July 2027.

This expedition will help prepare me for the future in so many ways. I will be taking part in a 13-night adventure where I’ll meet people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. During the trip, I’ll set myself personal goals such as learning how to work effectively as part of a team and managing money while abroad.

A highlight of the expedition will be spending time at a wildlife rehabilitation centre—one of the few places in the world where orangutans can be seen in their natural habitat. We will also take part in community projects within a local village, supporting sustainable development by improving local infrastructure or helping to create safer and more inclusive spaces. These projects aim to leave a meaningful, positive impact while allowing us to connect with local traditions and communities.

Over the next 16 months, I will be organising a range of fundraising events, including coffee and homemade cake mornings, quiz nights, sponsored runs, live music gigs with local bands, and fundraising meals in local restaurants.
