Maya’s Law will close dangerous gaps in child protection and safeguard children from known abusers. Named in loving memory of Maya Chappell, a happy, fun loving and courageous 2yr-old who was tragically lost due to failures in safeguarding, and whose death was preventable. Your donation will help launch the petition, support other families in this crisis, engage with MPs, and create awareness materials that will drive necessary change.
As Maya's family we are working voluntarily and with a passion to make a change for other children, to make sure no child goes through the pain and sadness Maya went through and no family goes through the heartache we continue to go through— but to reach the people in power, we need funding. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to changing the law and saving children’s lives.
