On what should have been a day of celebration, my great friend Max Amin received devastating news that he has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. The day that he turned 19 years old, he learned that he would be in for a battle over the coming months and I want to make sure that he knows he has a whole army supporting him in this journey ahead.
I've grown up with Max and been lucky enough to call him my best friend for as long as I can remember. He has always been a very active and healthy guy, but something like this can really put into perspective how this could happen to anybody. He has always been there for myself and many others and deserves the same treatment in return. This can't be said about a lot of people, but if you ask anyone that knows Max, they'll say he is the kindest, smartest, and most resilient individual they know. Max is a very caring guy that would do anything for his family and friends.
The Amins are like family to me so I felt like this should be done for such an amazing group of people. They want to help make a difference in as many people's lives as possible that are affected by this disease. By raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, other families can fight this battle with your support. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society uses donations to better the research and testing for these horrible diseases. LLS funds hundreds of promising researchers at leading cancer centers and universities worldwide.
Any donation, large or small, helps immensely in making a difference. If you're not able to donate, I ask that you share this with someone you know to spread awareness and help fight this cause with Max!
Thank you for the support, compassion, and generosity towards Max and the Amins, lets show them that we have their backs in this!
