Help Reunite a Father with his Family!

Mauricio was detained by ICE after being targeted on the highway while working as a truck driver. His children returned from school to learn that their father would not be coming home. Mauricio has been transferred out of state, away from his wife, kid sister, and three young children who all depend on his love, support, and income to make ends meet.

The family is in need of financial support as they continue to balance work, caregiving for the children, and financing Mauricio’s defense and return. The family remains in a state of fear, worried daily that just going to work or school will result in further family separation. Despite this, the mother continues to risk working outside the home just so her children can eat and maintain a roof over their heads. But they desperately need your help.

Donated funds will be used to help cover rent and basic needs for the family, in hopes and until their father comes back home.

Note: A Central Maryland IRC volunteer is hosting this fundraiser per request of the family and donations received will be transferred to the family on a regular basis.
