I'm Matt's son, Mike. I've fought having to do this for a while now, but it's gotten kinda scary. My dad needs help every month just to get by and it's reaching a breaking point so I'm asking for help. I'm not asking for a huge amount of money, just some breathing room for him. He's an amazing dude, and anyone that knows him can vouch for that. He has always been the best dad and now an awesome grandpa to my son. He's always been so quick to help people, and he always showed me the right way to treat people. Anyway, my old dad needs some help. So here we are.
How the donation would help - basically to ensure that he's able to continue to pay the basic monthly bills like phone and internet service, gas, electricity, etc. The VA is able to help my dad with most medical stuff, but there's out-of-pocket stuff as well. He gets social security and food stamps, and ends up short at least a couple hundred dollars every month after his rent. This donation would essentially be a small cushion for a while to relieve some of the pressure.
Matt is an unbelievable man who proudly served our country in Vietnam. He has always been a great dad to his three children, and he deserves to be able to enjoy his senior years without the crippling anxiety of scraping by.
Please consider donating and sharing his story with your network. Thank you for helping us give this great man the stable and comfortable life he earned.
Thank you so much for reading,
Mike Lepo
