Support Matthew’s Eagle Scout Project for the Timberwolves
Donation protected
My name is Matthew Cook and I am a Life Scout in Troop 63 working towards earning the rank of Eagle Scout. In order to achieve this goal, I have chosen to improve the storage space for the Berkley Timberwolves, a non-profit organization founded by Coach Glen Yearling that gives at risk youth in the Berkley section of Norfolk the opportunity to develop leadership and work skills through basketball, football, cheerleading, and their lawn care service.
Coach Glen uses a detached garage as the organization’s primary means of storage. However, the garage needs significant repairs and better means to properly store and maintain their equipment, which is where my project comes in.
Steven’s Roofing and Better View Windows and More have generously donated a new roof and new windows for my project, and now I am fundraising for storage bins, shelving, helmet racks, and shoulder pad racks to properly organize and store team practice jerseys, uniforms, and field equipment. Thank you for supporting my Eagle Scout project as the Berkley Timberwolves and I greatly appreciate your generosity.
Gratefully,
Matthew
