Hello, My name is Matthew Fletcher. I am a Life Scout in Troop 29 currently working on my Eagle Scout rank. For my Eagle Scout Project, I am working to renovate a courtyard at my old elementary school, Richardson Park Elementary. The area is currently worn down and is a safety hazard for the students, staff, and visitors.

My project includes replacing an old picnic table and a deteriorating wooden wall with a new fence in order to create a safer environment. I will also be adding a floral garden to give it a relaxing atmosphere and a place for students, staff, and visitors to enjoy.

My connection with Richardson Park Elementary started when I was three years old attending the learning center. This project is a way for me to give back to the school that has helped me shape who I am today. With the support and guidance of my former teachers I am able to carry out this project.

All funds raised go directly towards materials, supplies, and tools needed to complete the project. Any remaining funds will be donated to Richardson Park Elementary.
