As outlined below, there were several options to memorialize Matt on the island. A decision has been reached to work with the MV Boys and Girls club and help in the development and future of underprivileged children on the island. If anyone has any specific programs at the club they would like to be considered for the memorialization, please feel to reach out. Thank you for your patience and support. MV Family.

Vineyard House provides housing for Island men and women in need of a safe structured living environment while they are in the early stages of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. http://www.vineyardhouse.org/

The plan is to allocate monies evenly to three programs. There will be a group of five donors who will agree on which programs will receive an allocation. Open to all ideas.

Update: Yesterday evening, Matt passed away unexpectedly from his illness. We are all shocked and saddened by this sudden turn in his health and condition. Please keep Matthew and his family in your prayers and reach out to those in your circle who need support. We are going to continue to raise donations to support several causes that Matthew loved to memorialize his life on Martha's Vineyard.

Today, as he faces a challenging life battle at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, we invite you to join us in making a difference in his life during this critical time. Matt has been a source of strength and inspiration to those fortunate enough to know him. His selflessness and kindness have touched our lives and he has been a pillar of support in the Vineyard Community. Life has presented him with an arduous and daunting battle. With heavy hearts, we must share that despite Matthews's resilience and the dedicated efforts of his medical team, his illness has reached a point where hospice care is the most appropriate path forward. This is an incredibly difficult moment for Matthew, his family and all those who cherish him. In this time of immense need, we are determined to come together to provide Matthew with the support and resources he requires to navigate this chapter of his life with as much comfort and dignity as possible. Your contributions to the campaign will be instrumental in alleviating the financial burden that often accompanies medical treatments and end-of-life care.
