<div>John Forte was a dearest friend, an incredible musician and artist, and a vital, luminous soul who touched so many of our lives. Yesterday, we lost John unexpectedly, and his absence has left a profound void in our community and in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

<div>John’s two children, who are truly magical and full of his powerful spirit, now face a future without their father’s love, guidance, and support. Alongside their mother, Lara, who is navigating this unimaginable loss while caring for them, they will need both time and stability to begin healing.

<div>We are organizing this fundraiser to help support John’s children and Lara as they move through this incredibly difficult period. The funds raised will go directly toward the children’s future and care, as well as the unforeseen costs associated with John’s passing.

<div>Update: Yesterday evening, Matt passed away unexpectedly from his illness. We are all shocked and saddened by this sudden turn in his health and condition. Matt has been a source of strength and inspiration to those fortunate enough to know him. His selflessness and kindness have touched our lives and he has been a pillar of support in the Vineyard Community. Life has presented him with an arduous and daunting battle. With heavy hearts, we must share that despite Matthews's resilience and the dedicated efforts of his medical team, his illness has reached a point where hospice care is the most appropriate path forward. This is an incredibly difficult moment for Matthew, his family and all those who cherish him. In this time of immense need, we are determined to come together to provide Matthew with the support and resources he requires to navigate this chapter of his life with as much comfort and dignity as possible. Your contributions to the campaign will be instrumental in alleviating the financial burden that often accompanies medical treatments and end-of-life care.
