Hello!
My name is Mason Wegmann, and I'm a Life Scout with Troop 1038, currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout — the highest achievement in Scouting. As part of this journey, I’m leading a service project to support teenage clients of Willow Tree Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center , an organization that helps youth in crisis in our community.
For my project, I will be assembling and distributing Care & Hygiene Kits to teens in need. Each kit will include:
- A handmade tie blanket
- A backpack
- Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, etc.)
- School supplies (notebooks, pens, folders, etc.)
- Coloring books and drawing utensils
- Sports ball such as football, basketball, soccer ball
These items may seem small, but they represent comfort, dignity, and support for teens going through incredibly difficult times. My goal is to assemble and distribute at least 50 complete kits.
How You Can Help
Your donation will go directly toward purchasing supplies for these care kits. I’ll also be working with volunteers from my Scout troop, family, and friends to assemble the kits and deliver them to Willow Tree Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center.
Here's how your donation can make a difference:
$10 = hygiene items for 1 kit
$20 = school supplies for 1 kit
$30 = 1 tie blanket
$50 = 1 full kit
$250 = sponsor 5 full kits!
All funds raised will be used solely for the supplies needed to complete the project. Any extra materials or funds will be donated to Willow Tree Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center .
Why This Project Matters to Me
This project is about more than just earning a rank. It's a way to show kindness, provide practical support, and give back to teens who may feel unseen or forgotten. Every kit is a small reminder that someone cares. It is especially important to me because older teens often get overlooked leaving them with less support than younger children.
Thank you so much for your support — whether you donate, share this page, or help me spread the word. Every little bit helps me get closer to my goal and brings hope to someone who needs it.
Thank you,
Mason Wegmann
